Due to inadequate security, England has withdrawn itself from World badminton championship.. They got a threat that LET may attack the players during the tournament which is to be held in Hyderabad and so they decided to withdraw..

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/more-sports/badminton/England-blames-inadequate-security-for-withdrawal/articleshow/4877796.cms

So, where are we heading to and what is your take on this??

Usually we never give importance to such games and mostly concentrate on cricket, tennis etc.. So, making it a GA for people to discuss...

From what I read in a few newspapers, I believe Hyderabad had taken adequate steps to combat any security threat.

May be England just overreacted?
