Yes, barring a couple of articles in Mumbai Mirror, there was hardly anything. TOI had a small filler on page one saying 'Sarod player dies'... The obit was buried on page 12. The other p[apers didn't do even that (though I haven't checked The Hindu, which normally gives good space to such occerrences).Interestingly, if one surfs the Net, one finds extensive articles about him in the American press

I visited Music World last week and saw that they had a special corner and tribute section for Ustadji.. Yes, there is a commercial angle attached to this, but it was good to see that at least there was an effort to pay tribute...
