Everyone is sleeping here in DM . Here r my questions on sleep .Is sleep necessary ? how much sleep do we need ? how to sleep well ? Now please give your views on sleep ..OK
Sleep is the least of my priorities and probably gets the step brotherly treatment all the time...
Science says sleep is a necessity. Atleast 6-8 hours of sleep is a must. I have been defying science for a long time now and can easily and efficiently manage my chores on a 3-4 hours sleep/day
So long there is strong coffee around and a challenging enough task in hand, sleep can happily take a back seat..
My beauty sleep is very important to me..I try to get my 8 hrs of sleep a day, come aandhi or toofan(I actually get more than 8 hrs ) I get this on an avg..like more sleep on weekends and less on weekdays, sometimes keeping awake till late at night(like now)..and then getting short naps in the afternoon..I am basically a nocturnal creature...but I am forcing myself to sleep by 12 at night nowadays .I wake up early in the morning and get the rest of my sleep in catnaps or doze off during uninteresting conversations
I cannot manage like Adi(with 3-4 hrs of sleep per day ..How I wish i cld do that....The closest i got to it was once when i pulled thru a month with 5 hrs avg sleep per day ..At the end of the month(and exams),i slept for almost 48 hrs nonstop waking up for only 2 meals
Is sleep necessary:very much....warna Zinda rehna muskhil hai(at least mere jaison ke liye How much sleep?I think it differs from person to person...Some kids can do with 7-8 hrs of sleep while some adults need 9 hrs(like me)...I think it depends on the individual How to sleep well:Be tension free,it is the surefire mantra for a sound sleep
i sleep at least 8 hrs ..if i dont then class main sone ka j/k ...if i dont sleep that much then it will b very very difficult for me to concentrate whole day
do minus my holidays..i m awake till 1-3 am then wake up after 10 ( i m enjoying these days )

Good One Sonu... There are many in our forum who are owl cum human.. They are awake in the morning as well as in the night...
For me, sleep is not the priority but I do sleep for long if I am too tired.. If I have work, I will never sleep nor will I get proper sleep.. I complete my work and only then go to sleep... On a normal day I sleep for 5-6 hours.. Usually go to sleep by 1 and wake up by 6.30.. This is my usual routine but there are times when I have woken up even at 9 But they were times when I went off to sleep in the morning at 3 or 4.. hehe..

Yes... many of us are well known ullu's... there ahve been days when the 3-4 hour sleep also was not possible. The longest I have slept recently is 12 hours flat... offcourse, I was unwell and was under the influence of heavy medication which made me sleep so much..
