When a forum is created, many members wonder how to use the features. So, thought of explaining about some of the features - if you have any doubts, you can always post a topic in the suggestions and help desk section

How to add Bullet list and Numbered lists?

To add the bulleted list, you can use the list feature and to add numbered list, you can use the list= feature. To do so, press on list button and star for each list option..

Now, here is an example

[ list=1 ][ * ]Rafi
[ * ]Kishore
[ * ]Lata
[ * ]Asha[/list]

[ list ][ * ]Rafi[/list]
[ list ][ * ]Kishore[/list]
[ list ][ * ]Lata[/list]
[ list ][ * ]Asha[/list]

Now, this is how the list will appear:

1. Rafi
2. Kishore
3. Lata
4. Asha

• Rafi

• Kishore

• Lata

• Asha

To place the text in the center

You can see a button called center -> now to make the text to be placed in the center of the post, click on center button and write the text between the tags [ center ] text you want to place in the center of the post [/ center ] When you place it between the tags you will get the display as follows



To add youtube videos

You can find a button called youtube -> to add the youtube videos, just get the last 11 alpha numberic text from the youtube link and put it in between the youtube tags..

For example

Here is a youtube video link - http://in.youtube.com/watch?v=SCzLvZkMI_o

Now to add this video, just take the last 11 letters - SCzLvZkMI_o and place it in between the youtube tags.. It will appear like this – [ youtube ] SCzLvZkMI_o [ /youtube ]

When you put it inside the tags – the video will appear:



To add backgrounds to post

You can add a background to your post like this:

We love music We Love music We love music We love music We Love music We Love music

To do so – first upload the image in any of the image uploading site and get the link. Now, click on the background button and you have to add three parameters to them.

1. The background image (http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/4710/image1lb4.jpg)
2. Color of the border (It can be either red, blue, black, green or white)
3. And the text that needs to appear inside the background. (We love Music)

Do not change the order and also leave a space after adding one parameter. For example – image link,(leave a space)color,(leave a space)Text to be added. If you don’t follow these rules, then you will not get the result. This is how the text will appear when you are making the post:

[ background ]http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/4710/image1lb4.jpg, red, We love Music

We love Music We Love Music
[/ background ]
